The Best Brows for Blondes

This post is sponsored by European Wax Center and Her Campus Media. The brow products and brow wax were gifts from EWC. All opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make Love Megan June possible!

Being a natural blond when eyebrows are the current trend is difficult to say the least. I’m 21 and it wasn’t until I was 19 that you could see some resemblance of me actually having eye brows. So going from basically a no eyebrow look to the current trend of thick, full eye brows is a bit frightening. While I want people to be able to see my eyebrows, I don’t want them to overpower my face since my eyebrows have never been a prominent feature. I want them to look natural and not like I painted them on. And with fall here, I’ve definitely switched up my make-up routine. From the soft, subtle nudes I use in the summer to purple, brown, and even some greens in the fall, with such a big switch in my eye make-up, it only makes sense to change up my routines in other areas of my make-up.

I started off getting an eye brow wax at European Wax Center. As a crazy, busy college student, taking time for some self-care is always a treat for me. I’ve gone to this EWC since I was a freshman in college and I’ve never had a bad experience. Every brow specialist I’ve worked with always understands that I have immensely sensitive skin and that I just want to clean up around my brows without any major shaping because I have a good, natural eyebrow look already.

My every day brow routine is where the 4 Steps to Gorgeous™ process came into play. I love EWC’s brow collection, Strut Boldly, to help you achieve your desired brow look, whether you are going for natural and soft or bold and ready to conquer the world, they have you covered.

I start with Browfection™ Brow Power. It’s a powder that always blends seamlessly into my brows. I use the Brow Pals Dual-Ended Brow Brush to apply this. Browfection allows me to give some color to my eyebrows without them looking too crazy.

Next I use the other side of the Brow Pals Dual-Ended brow brush to blend the brow powder. This also helps to keep all of your eyebrow hairs inline. If I could only keep one make-up brush it would be this because simply brushing out your eyebrows makes a huge difference.

The next product I use in my brow routine is Ready, Set, Brow™. This is a clear brow gel that allows you to set the work you’ve done previously. At first I thought this product was a bit silly, but after not using it the first few times I used a brow powder I realized how big of a difference this product makes. And if I am in a big hurry, I always reach for this product just to run through my eyebrows to give them a more defined shape.

Now that I’ve defined my eyebrows, it’s time to bring some attention to them. I use the Oh My Brow!™ Brow Highlighter under the arch of my eyebrow and above the arch of my eyebrow to better high light it. After applying, I simply blend with my finger to have the perfect sculpted eyebrows and am ready to take on my day. It’s just that easy, 4 products that allow you to reach Browfection in just a few short minutes.

How has your make-up routine changed since the fall season came upon us? Do you need to give your brows more love this season? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
